Top ranked Helsinki Seagulls (18-6) recorded its sixth loss at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by fourth ranked Joensuun Kataja (15-8) 91-61. The game without a history. Joensuun Kataja led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Joensuun Kataja dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Helsinki Seagulls' 26. They outrebounded Helsinki Seagulls 36-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Canadian guard Daniel Mullings (188-91, college: N.Mexico St.) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American swingman Jarekious Bradley (196-90, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Joensuun Kataja players scored in double figures. American guard Jason Conley (196-81, college: Missouri, agency: Blacktop Management) produced 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import swingman Raymond Cowels III (193-90, college: Santa Clara) added 8 points respectively for lost side.
