Undefeated leader ratiopharm Ulm delivered the nineteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked BBC Bayreuth (14-5) 90-70. ratiopharm Ulm made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Raymar Morgan (203-88, college: Michigan St.) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Chris Babb (196-90, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. Egyptian forward Assem Marei (206-92, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American Nate Linhart (201-86, college: Akron) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for BBC Bayreuth. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ratiopharm Ulm maintains first place with 19-0 record. BBC Bayreuth at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. ratiopharm Ulm will play against Braunschweig (#16) in Braunschweig in the next round which should be another easy win for them. BBC Bayreuth will play at home against Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
