CDU Concepcion cruised past Tinguiririca to force the sixth game in the series. The game without a history. Universidad de Concepcion led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tinguiririca S.F.'s 44. They outrebounded Tinguiririca S.F. 43-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Universidad de Concepcion looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. British-American Darren Phillip (201-78, college: Fairfield, agency: DTMones) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Universidad de Concepcion's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) responded with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international swingman Patrick Saez (193-79) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
