An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Piestany. Second ranked Piestanske C. faced 3rd ranked MBK Ruzomberok. Host Piestanske C. (13-1) smashed guests from Ruzomberok (9-5) 89-50. Piestanske C. made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Piestanske C. outrebounded MBK Ruzomberok 35-18 including a 26-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Monique Oliver (188-91, college: Rutgers) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). The other American import point guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Piestanske C. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) who recorded 13 points and Canadian forward Taijah Campbell (190-94, college: Virginia Tech) added 11 points respectively. Piestanske C. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Good Angels. MBK Ruzomberok at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost.
