There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Vysocina (4-13) beat 7th ranked USK Praha B (7-10) in Jihlava 84-77 on Sunday. Vysocina dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha B's 24. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Martin Novak (199-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Point guard Martin Straznicky (180-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists for the winners. Four Vysocina players scored in double figures. Point guard Ondrej Sehnal (183-97) answered with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jan Streba (195-95) added 23 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for USK Praha B. Vysocina maintains tenth place with 4-13 record. USK Praha B lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Vysocina will face higher ranked Basket Kosice (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
