The most interesting game of round 18 in the Serie A was only one-point a home defeat of 6th ranked Auxilium TO (9-9) to fifth ranked Betaland Cdo (10-8) 92-91. It ended the three-game winning streak of Auxilium TO. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 1 point. Strangely Auxilium TO outrebounded Betaland Cdo 41-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Montenegrin point guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) scored 20 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul) chipped in 21 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Deron Washington (201-85, college: Virginia Tech) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Betaland Cdo moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Grissin Bon RE and Banco di Srd. Auxilium TO at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Betaland Cdo is looking forward to face Dolomiti En. TR (#11) in Trento in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Auxilium TO will play on the road against Vanoli Cremona (#16) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
