The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Singapore Singapore Slingers (9-3) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by second ranked Hong Kong Hong Kong ELL (7-2) 73-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Singapore Slingers. Hong Kong ELL have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-2 record having five points less than leader Singapore S. Singapore Slingers at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Hong Kong ELL are looking forward to face bottom-ranked KL Dragons (#6) in Kuala Lumpur in the next round. Singapore Slingers will play at home against Alab Pilipinas (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
