Shanghai overcame to force the decisive third game in the series. The hosts were already 16 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 21-11 Bayi Kylin's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 66-60 at the end of the game. Shanghai Dahua dominated on the defensive end, holding Bayi Kylin to just 6 points in second quarter. Shanghai Dahua forced 22 Bayi Kylin turnovers. Strangely Bayi Kylin outrebounded Shanghai Dahua 37-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Jing Huang (183-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds. Yingyun Li contributed with 14 points for the winners. International center Mengran Sun (197-92) replied with 14 points and 9 rebounds and the former international center Liting Zhang (199-94) added 10 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Bayi Kylin.
