Regular Season Round 6: Ohio Bootleggers - Rochester R. 89-95

PBL top team - Rochester RazorSharks (6-1) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat fifth ranked Bootleggers (5-4) in Columbus 95-89. Guard Corey Allmond (188-88, college: Sam Houston St.) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Melvin Council (191-82, college: Robert Morris) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Brett McKnight (198-89, college: Akron) with 25 points and 6 rebounds and forward Bernard Edwards (198-90, college: Defiance) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bootleggers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Rochester RazorSharks have an impressive six-game winning streak. Despite that victory Rochester RazorSharks went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Bootleggers keep the fifth place with four games lost. Rochester RazorSharks will face league's leader Mavericks in Owensboro in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bootleggers will play at home against Jackals (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
