Regular Season Round 12: Kumanovo - Feni Industries 64-60

Prva Liga round 12 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Feni Industries (10-2) against third ranked Kumanovo (8-3) 64-60 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Feni Industries. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 17-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American point guard Yonel Brown (175-94, college: Kennesaw St., agency: BeoExcell) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) replied with 5 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Boban Stajic (185-93) added 12 points in the effort for Feni Industries. Kumanovo maintains third position with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Rabotnicki. Feni Industries at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Rabotnicki who have the same record. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when Feni Industries faces Strumica trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kumanovo will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Vardar in Skopje.
