Rather expected game when 6th ranked Talje Knights (3-8) lost at home to third ranked Helsingborg (7-6) 94-80 on Saturday. Helsingborg made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for guard Anton Persson (180-97) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Guard Erik Joelsson (196-97) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Helsingborg's coach Martin Fastberg used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Michiel Petersen (204-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Filip Kovacek (182-95) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Talje Knights. Helsingborg maintains third position in BEHS forts with 7-6 record having just one point less than leader IK Eos. Talje Knights lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Helsingborg will face league's second-placed Eskilstuna at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Talje Knights will play against Hoganas (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
