Regular Season Round 12: Rabotnicki - Ohrid AV 97-61

Prva Liga top team - Rabotnicki (10-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Ohrid AV (2-9) in Skopje 97-61. The game without a history. Rabotnicki led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Rabotnicki outrebounded Ohrid AV 34-21 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international Andrej Maslinko (206-97, agency: BeoBasket) who scored that evening 19 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian center Nenad Misanovic (217-84) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by Serbian Stevan Gligorijevic (196-98) did not help to save the game for Ohrid AV. Slavisa Janeski (-90) added 10 points and 6 assists. Ohrid AV's coach Petar Chochoroski gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Rabotnicki maintains first position with 10-2 record, which they share with Feni Industries. Ohrid AV lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. Rabotnicki will meet Pelister Bitola (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Ohrid AV will play against Kozuv and hope to secure a win.
