Very predictable result when sixth ranked Costa Masnaga (12-6) smashed on the road 14th ranked Alghero (1-17) 71-44. The game without a history. Costa Masnaga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alghero to just 4 points in first quarter and to 12 points in first half. Costa Masnaga held Alghero to an opponent 19.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.3 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a good game for swingman Alessandra Visconti (187-87) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds.
