Regular Season Round 37: Xinjiang FT - Shandong GS 118-85

CBA top team - Xinjiang Flying Tige (31-6) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Shandong Bulls (21-16) in Urumqi 118-85. Xinjiang Flying Tige dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Shandong Bulls' 58. They outrebounded Shandong Bulls 54-31 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Xinjiang Flying Tige looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Shandong Bulls' players. American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international center HanLin Tao (208-91) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Ke Wu (209-90) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige and four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 31-6 record. Loser Shandong Bulls keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Beijing D.. Xinjiang Flying Tige will meet at home TianJin Steel (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shandong Bulls will play against Qingdao Eagles and hope to secure a win.
