JX-Eneos cruised past Haneda Vickies to take 1-0 lead in the series. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Haneda Vickies to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. JX-Eneos S. held Haneda Vickies to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 55.1 percent accuracy of the winners. JX-Eneos S. forced 21 Haneda Vickies turnovers and outrebounded them 45-31 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. JX-Eneos S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Haneda Vickies' players. The former international forward Yuka Mamiya (185-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and international forward Yuki Miyazawa (181-93, college: Queens, NY) accounted for 16 points. Forward Yuka Suginaka (176-87) came up with 7 points and 12 rebounds and forward Senami Akimoto (178-92) added 10 points respectively for Haneda Vickies in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
