Second Stage Round 4: MBK Ruzomb. - Good Angels 62-74

An interesting game for Good Angels (9-1) which played road game in Ruzomberok against 3rd ranked MBK Ruzomberok (4-6). First ranked Good Angels managed to get a 12-point victory 74-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MBK Ruzomberok. Good Angels dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to MBK Ruzomberok's 28. Good Angels forced 19 MBK Ruzomberok turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. The former international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) contributed with 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Good Angels players scored in double figures. Good Angels' coach Peter Jankovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward Taijah Campbell (190-94, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) added 5 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for MBK Ruzomberok. Good Angels have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position in Places 1-4 with 9-1 record. MBK Ruzomberok at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Good Angels are looking forward to face Samorin (#4) at home in the next round. MBK Ruzomberok will play against the league's second-placed Piestanske C. in Piestany and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
