Toyota Alvark held off Chanson in the semifinal opener. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 62-52. Toyota A. dominated on the defensive end, holding Chanson V-M to just 2 points in second quarter. It was a very good performance for international forward Mika Kurihara (178-89) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Yuko Oga (170-82) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Minaho Minamiminoru (167-93) answered with 18 points and center Miyuki Kawamura (183-94) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Chanson V-M.
