Semi-Finals Game 1: JX-Eneos S. - Denso Iris 92-59

JX-Eneos fired past Denso Iris to take the lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by JX-Eneos S.. Denso Iris managed to win fourth quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Denso Iris' 38. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Yuki Miyazawa (181-93, college: Queens, NY) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four JX-Eneos S. players scored in double figures. The former international center Sakura Akaho (182-96) answered with 24 points and the former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) added 18 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Denso Iris. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
