Regular Season Round 14: Guantanamo - Camaguey 61-62

Date: February 26, 2017
Another exciting game where seventh ranked Tigres (1-12) edged by one point bottom-ranked Guantanamo (0-13) 62-61. Guantanamo was very close to get their first win. Forward Yoanis Baldo (191-89) saved the victory by scoring 8 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Vladimir Francis (185-83) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Tigres' coach Juan Morales allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Raudelis Guerra (191-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 steals and forward Yuset Tito (197-92) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Guantanamo. Four Guantanamo players scored in double figures. Tigres maintains seventh position with 1-12 record. It was Guantanamo's thirteenth loss in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost.
