A1 top team - Olympiacos (18-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Apollon Patras (5-14) 87-70. The game was mostly controlled by Olympiacos. Apollon Patras managed to win second period 25-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olympiacos made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Apollon Patras' players. Olympiacos is looking forward to face Lavrio (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Apollon Patras will play against Koroivos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
