Quarter-Finals Round 5: Shanghai S. - Shenzhen L. 95-102 OT

Shenzhen upset Shanghai in overtime in the decisive fifth game of the series and sealed their semifinal appearance. Leopards outrebounded Sharks 61-49 including 22 on the offensive glass. Sharks were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Polish-Swedish power forward Maciej Lampe (211-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-86, college: Gonzaga) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Leopards players scored in double figures. American point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89, college: BYU) answered with a double-double by scoring 50 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (was perfect 20-for-20 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international center ZhaoXu Zhang (221-87, college: California) added 14 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Sharks.
