Regular Season Round 26: SKK Siedlce - Pogon Prudnik 83-60

We should mention about the upset which took place in Siedlce, where higher ranked Pogon Prudnik (14-12) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked SKK Siedlce (11-15) 83-60 on Sunday. Guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Rafal Krol (200-87) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Center Patryk Nowerski (205-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five SKK Siedlce and four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKK Siedlce moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Kotwica. Pogon Prudnik lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Polonia Leszno. SKK Siedlce will meet Rosa II Radom (#13) on the road in the next round. Pogon Prudnik will play against Spojnia (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
