Quarter-Finals Round 5: Osorno - Las Animas 94-62

Osorno fired past Las Animas to take 3-2 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-62. Osorno Basquetbol dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Las Animas' 32. The best player for the winners was American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Rodrigo Munoz (186-80) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. American center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Aspire Sports) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Dominic Cheek (198-91, college: Villanova) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
