Finals Game 1: JX-Eneos S. - Toyota A. 84-53

JX-Eneos cruised past Toyota in the WJBL Finals opener. The game without a history. JX-Eneos S. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Toyota A. to just 4 points in fourth quarter. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota A.'s 34. They outrebounded Toyota A. 50-31 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Yuka Mamiya (185-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (191-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Four JX-Eneos S. players scored in double figures. International forward Mika Kurihara (178-89) answered with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Mayi Na (181-93) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Toyota A.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
