Finals Game 3: Guantanamo - Capitalinas 77-76

Guantanamo celebrated Liga Superior title. They beat Capitalinas to sweep the championship series. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-12. But Capitalinas won second period 24-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for power forward Yunieski Bouly-Garzon (184-92) who saved her team from a defeat with 17 points and 5 steals. International center Clenia Noblet (190-87) contributed with 11 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Guantanamo players scored in double figures. The former international center Edith Thompson (188-90) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Dairis Tornell (176-92) added 16 points and 5 steals in the effort for Capitalinas. Capitalinas' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
