Regular Season Round 10: Dubois D. - Kentucky M. 80-105

PBL top team - Mavericks (11-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Dream (0-14) in Dubois 105-80. Mavericks dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Dream's 48. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. Center Nicholas Waddell (200-90, college: Grand Valley St.) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Brandon McGee (198-89, college: Georgia St.) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five Mavericks players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds by center Julius Francis (211, college: Miss.Valley St.) did not help to save the game for Dream. Guard Anthony Jackson (196-89, college: Florida Tech) added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mavericks have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Dream at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Mavericks will play against Hurricanes (#5) in Fredonia in the next round. Dream will play at home against Sky Chiefs and hopes to get finally their first victory.
