Quarter-Finals Round 1: Regulators - Stingers 108-86

Date: March 10, 2017
Regulators outgunned Stingers in the opening game. Regulators forced 30 Stingers turnovers and outrebounded them 48-32 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 32 personal fouls committed by Stingers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Eugene Bain (195-88, college: Bellevue) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Gameliel Rose chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Rashad Ingraham produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Domnick Bridgewater added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five Stingers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
