Second Stage Round 3: Vysocina - Havirov 90-56

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Havirov's (2-19) road loss to Vysocina (5-16) 56-90 on Friday. Vysocina dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Havirov's 32. Vysocina forced 24 Havirov turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for forward Jiri Bubak (194-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Ondrej Manak (198-86) helped adding 25 points. The best for the losing side was Jan Leczo (198-96) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jan Landor (189) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Havirov players scored in double figures. Vysocina will face Novy Jicin (#17) in Novy Jicin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Havirov will play at home against GBA Sparta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
