Regular Season Round 33: BC Lulea - Nassjo 82-60

Basketligan top team - BC Lulea (22-7) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Nassjo (13-17) 82-60. The game without a history. BC Lulea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. BC Lulea forced 21 Nassjo turnovers. Point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) nailed 19 points and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side and American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) accounted for 15 points. Four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. BC Lulea's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Reginald Johnson (191-94, college: Hampton) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Nassjo in the defeat. BC Lulea maintains first place with 22-7 record. Nassjo lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. BC Lulea will meet Uppsala Basket (#4) on the road in the next round. Nassjo will play against Boras Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
