Bengaluru topped Pune to sweep the semifinal series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 38-29 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Bengaluru made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game, while Pune P. only scored seven points from the stripe. Strangely Pune P. outrebounded Bengaluru 43-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Chris Solomon (191-90, college: Kaiser) had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Vishesh Bhriguvanshi (192-91) chipped in 27 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) during the contest. The former international power forward Amritpal Singh (212-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and American guard Pierre Newton (196-93, college: Minn.-Duluth) produced a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
