The game in Fredonia supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Rochester RazorSharks (11-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Hurricanes (6-10). Rochester RazorSharks smashed Hurricanes 116-78 on Saturday. Rochester RazorSharks forced 19 Hurricanes turnovers and outrebounded them 56-36 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rochester RazorSharks looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rochester RazorSharks made 8 blocks. Point guard Jerice Crouch (182-84, college: Chattanooga) fired 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Deverell Biggs (185-92, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Biggs is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Rochester RazorSharks players scored in double figures. Rochester RazorSharks' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Geno Green (196-88, college: Paine) produced 24 points and forward Tyquan Brown (200-89, college: Cal Poly Pomona) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Rochester RazorSharks have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 11-2 record having just one point less than leader Kentucky M. Hurricanes lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with ten games lost. Rochester RazorSharks will meet at home league's leader Mavericks in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hurricanes will play against the league's leader Mavericks (#1) and hope to secure a win.
