An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lugo. First ranked Gipuzkoa faced 4th placed Leche Rio Breogan. Guests from San Sebastian (19-8) defeated host Leche Rio Breogan (17-9) 92-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Leche Rio Breogan. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 29-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Gipuzkoa made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Gipuzkoa maintains first place with 19-8 record. Leche Rio Breogan at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Gipuzkoa are looking forward to face Oviedo CB (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Leche Rio Breogan will play against Melilla Baloncesto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
