Semi-Finals Game 6: Soles - Garzas 100-68

Soles stunned visiting Garzas to reach the Finals. The game without a history. Soles led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Garzas' 30. They outrebounded Garzas 44-30 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Soles players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Garzas' players. It was a good game for American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St.) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Point guard Alexander Perez Kaufmann (191-93, agency: Pro Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Four Soles players scored in double figures. Naturalized American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and the former international forward Stephen Soriano (200-85, college: Colorado Mesa) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Garzas. Garzas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
