Finals Game 1: Sydney - Dandenong 91-82

Sydney Uni Flames rallied past Dandenong in Grand Final opener. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 45-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Sydney Uni Flames looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Alex Wilson (174-94) stepped up and scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American center Jennifer Hamson (201-92, college: BYU, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Sydney Uni Flames players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Sara Blicavs (188-93) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Stephanie Cumming (178-90) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
