Cybots cruised past Bahas Uni in the opener. Cybots forced 25 the Bahamas turnovers and outrebounded them 57-44 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by the Bahamas' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cybots made 7 blocks. Guard Ernest Saunders (188, college: Cleveland St. CC) fired 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international center Jeremy Hutchinson (-80) chipped in 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Cybots' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kemsy Sylvestre produced 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ramon Dames (-93, college: Carl Albert JC) added 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals respectively for lost side.
