Second Stage Round 6: Svitavy - Usti n/Labem 83-57

Date: March 18, 2017
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Basketbal Svitavy and 8th ranked BK Usti nad Labem had identical 11-16 record. This time Basketbal Svitavy used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Usti nad Labem 83-57. Basketbal Svitavy had a 34-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Brett Roseboro (208-91, college: UMBC, agency: Inception Sports) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Bryan Smithson (183-85, college: NC-Asheville, agency: HMS) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Even 12 points by American point guard Mikey Thompson (190, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for BK Usti nad Labem. Power forward David Steffel (212-85) added 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Basketbal Svitavy maintains seventh position in Places 7-12 with 12-16 record. BK Usti nad Labem at the other side keeps the eighth place with 17 games lost. Basketbal Svitavy's next round opponent will be BK Lions Hradec (#11) in J.Hradec. BK Usti nad Labem will play at home against Prostejov and hope to win that game.
