Strangely Roma Vis Nova outrebounded Teramo 43-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Roma Vis Nova was plagued by 36 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and naturalized Argentinian swingman Pedro Rubbera (-81) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Giulio Casale (187-91) with 21 points and swingman Valerio Staffieri (196-92) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Five Teramo and four Roma Vis Nova players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Teramo maintains eleventh position in B with 10-11 record. Roma Vis Nova at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Teramo will face Roma S.Azzurra (#14) on the road in the next round.
