The game in Gjakove supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Trepca (15-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Vellaznimi (2-20). Trepca smashed Vellaznimi 98-74 on Saturday. The game without a history. Trepca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Vellaznimi's 42. Trepca looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Jeremy Wise (191-86, college: S.Mississippi) chipped in 21 points and 11 assists during the contest. At the losing side Beqe Kovaqi (196-94) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Musab Mala (185-96) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists. Five Trepca and four Vellaznimi players scored in double figures. Vellaznimi's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Trepca have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-7 record. Vellaznimi lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 20 games lost. Trepca will meet at home Xhebrailat (#5) in the next round. Vellaznimi will play against Rahoveci and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
