MBK Ruzomberok upset Banska Bystrica on the road to sweep the series. The game was mostly controlled by MBK Ruzomberok. Banska Bystrica managed to win second period 13-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MBK Ruzomberok dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Banska Bystrica's 26. The former international point guard Zuzana Lazarova (168-87) notched 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American forward Janae Smith (188-92, college: UAB) supported her with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Even 11 points by guard Lucia Striesova (180-97, college: Robert Morris) did not help to save the game for Banska Bystrica. Austrian point guard Laura van-Dalen (168-87) added 11 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
