Regular Season Round 23: Rosa Radom - Energa Czarni 67-68

A very interesting game took place in Radom. It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Rosa (14-10) to twelfth ranked Energa Czarni (13-11) 68-67 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Rosa. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward David Kravish (208-92, college: California) accounted for 11 points for the winning side. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Darnell Jackson (206-85, college: Kansas) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Rosa in the defeat. Rosa's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Energa Czarni moved-up to seventh place, which they share with MKS DG and Trefl Sopot. Rosa at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Energa Czarni's next round opponent will be higher ranked Twarde Pierniki (#4) in Torun and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rosa will play on the road against AZS Polfarmex in Kutno and hope to win that game.
