An interesting game for Sokol Hradec Kralove (8-1) which hosted in Hradec Kralove 4th placed SKB Zlin (4-5). First ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove had an easy win 90-70. Sokol Hradec Kralove outrebounded SKB Zlin 48-16 including a 21-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Center Libor Svandrlik (202-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Tomas Kirsbaum (205-82) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Sokol Hradec Kralove's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Michal Susak (203-77) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Jaroslav Prasil (200-80, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points in the effort for SKB Zlin. Sokol Hradec Kralove maintains first place in Places 1-6 with 8-1 record. SKB Zlin at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Sokol Hradec Kralove are looking forward to face B&W Opava B (#5) on the road in the next round. SKB Zlin will play against the league's second-placed Slavoj BK Litomerice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
