Regular Season Round 35: BC Lulea - Jamtland 98-77

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked BC Lulea as it allowed them to take a leadership position. BC Lulea smashed 6th ranked KFUM Jamtland at home 98-77. The game without a history. BC Lulea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Lulea forced 21 KFUM Jamtland turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who scored 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Quinton Upshur (196-93, college: N.Arizona) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) produced 10 points and 8 assists and forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Norrkoping. KFUM Jamtland lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. KFUM Jamtland will play next round against strong Norrkoping Dolphins trying to get back on the winning streak. BC Lulea will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Malbas in Malmo.
