Semi-Finals Game 1: Piestanske C. - MBK Ruzomb. 48-39

Date: March 25, 2017
The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 48-39. Piestanske C. dominated on the defensive end, holding MBK Ruzomberok to just 5 points in second quarter and to 12 points in first half. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import center Monique Oliver (188-91, college: Rutgers) contributed with 5 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Taijah Campbell (190-94, college: Virginia Tech) answered with 8 points and 5 rebounds and center Alica Moravcikova (190-94) added 6 points in the effort for MBK Ruzomberok. MBK Ruzomberok's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
