Second Stage Round 7: MMCITE Brno - NH Ostrava 59-69

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked NH Ostrava and 10th ranked MMCITE Brno had identical 10-18 record. But MMCITE Brno was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Ostrava 69-59. It was a great evening for forward Vojtech Bratcenkov (198-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side American guard Kevin Ware (188-93, college: Georgia St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Bosnian center Ermin Jazvin (209-80) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. NH Ostrava maintains ninth place in Places 7-12 with 11-18 record. MMCITE Brno at the other side keeps the tenth position with 19 games lost. NH Ostrava will play against higher ranked BK Usti nad Labem (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MMCITE Brno will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
