The game in Kaohsiung City supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Filipino Alab Pilipinas (11-9) played at the court of 6th ranked Taiwanese Kaohsiung (5-15). Alab Pilipinas smashed Kaohsiung 107-85. The game was mostly controlled by Alab Pilipinas. Kaohsiung was better in third quarter 29-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Alab Pilipinas dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Kaohsiung's 48. They outrebounded Kaohsiung 49-26 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American-Filipino guard Bobby-Ray Parks (193-93, college: High School) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. American-Filipino forward Lawrence Domingo (196-89, college: E.New Mexico) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Alab Pilipinas players scored in double figures. Alab Pilipinas' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Chris Oliver (201-85, college: Radford, agency: Babcock Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Taiwanese swingman Wesley Hsu (191-84, college: Elon) added 17 points in the effort for Kaohsiung. Alab Pilipinas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-9 record having five points less than leader Hong Kong ELL. Kaohsiung lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
