Regular Season Round 24: The Flexx PT - EA7 Armani 85-74

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Armani Milano (20-4) in Pistoia on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by twelfth ranked The Flexx PT (11-13) 85-74. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Armani Milano. The game without a history. The Flexx PT led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Andrea Crosariol (212-84, college: Fair Dickinson) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. The Flexx PT's coach Vincenzo Esposito used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American-Georgian guard Richard Hickman (189-85, college: NC-Greensboro) with 13 points and 6 assists and Serbian Milan Macvan (206-89) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five The Flexx PT and four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. The Flexx PT moved-up to tenth place. Defending champion Armani Milano still keeps top position with four games lost. The Flexx PT are looking forward to face higher ranked Auxilium TO (#9) in Torino in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Armani Milano will play at home against Dolomiti En. TR (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
