ViA narrowly edged Ogre/Kumho in the quarterfinals opener. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. ViA had a 33-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when ViA made 7 blocks.
