Ulriken knocked down NTNUI Shakers to advance. The game was mostly controlled by Ulriken. NTNUI Shakers was better in fourth quarter 17-5. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ulriken forced 28 NTNUI Shakers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international forward Maren-Hoff Austgulen (182-91, college: Idaho) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Vilde Tveito (182-95) chipped in 13 points. Four Ulriken players scored in double figures. Ulriken's coach DuRell Sandford used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Bjorg Husbyn responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Siri Granheim (178-94) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds.
