No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Basketbal Svitavy (15-16) defeated at home 9th ranked NH Ostrava (12-19) 86-76 on Friday. Basketbal Svitavy made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Slovakian point guard Roman Marko (194-86) stepped up and scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and the former international guard Pavel Slezak (186-84) chipped in 20 points. Four Basketbal Svitavy players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85) with 21 points and 5 assists and American point guard Malcolm Canada (191, college: Auburn) scored 7 points and 5 assists. NH Ostrava's coach Dusan Medvecky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Basketbal Svitavy.
