The game between closely ranked teams ended with 12th ranked Prostejov's (9-22) home loss to eleventh ranked BK Lions Hradec (11-20) 81-90 on Friday. American point guard Terrell Lipkins (180-91, college: Montevallo) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and Jiri Soula (189-95) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Rayshawn Simmons (193, college: Cent.Michigan, agency: Two Points) with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Irish-American forward Brian Fitzpatrick (203-89, college: Bucknell, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 15 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Prostejov's coach Zbynek Choleva rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Lions Hradec moved-up to tenth place in Places 7-12. Prostejov lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 22 games lost. BK Lions Hradec will meet at home higher ranked BK Usti nad Labem (#8) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
